European Girevoy Sports AssociationEGSA- Ranking Event, Kilkenny
What is a rank?
People training in Kettlebell Sports may wish to achieve "a rank". These are tiered ranking systems for competitors to aim to achieve throughout their training. Rankings are classified depending on the bodyweight of the person involved.
Note: EGSA rank is the toughest rank to achieve. If you achieve your rank under EGSA your standard will be on par or higher than other ranking organisations, including the world’s top organisations.

How it works?
There are two lifts in which ranks will be awarded, the Jerk/Snatch total and the Long Cycle.
Each person will be given an appointment time/s to perform their lifts.
1 appointment time for long cycle or two appointment times 1 for snatch and 1 for jerk.
Note: the rest period between appointments for jerk and snatch will be between 30mins to 2 hours. This will depend on the number of people attending.
Your set will be judged by an official EGSA judge. (Mark/Eddie)
On completion of your rank, you will receive your EGSA certificate.
